Well, if you were looking for some closure on Newcastle's manager situation next year, you didn't have to wait long. Lee Ryder tweeted out, well, the opposite of what most Newcastle fans were hoping/expecting.
I'm guessing that the pre-season plans detailed the transfer window and Newcastle's tour of New Zealand and Australia, but there's not much more to report.
This news comes right after the season ending 2-1 loss to Liverpool, in which Newcastle saw two players red carded and let a 1-0 lead slip away. Afterwards, Pardew admitted that he hadn't been good enough this season. He also called for some offensive players to be acquired this off season.
Pardew also picked up quite the endorsement today, from Brendan Rodgers.
According to Ryder, Pardew refused to answer questions about if he felt grateful that Ashley had stuck with him.
