4. A built-in audience. You don't have to convince people to follow you or worry about following the right people.

3. No refreshing. The auto-refresh feature means you don't have to hover over the F5 button and then scroll endlessly to see if anybody's said anything recently.

2. "@replies" are so overrated. No more scrolling up to see what "@67" refers to or wading through endless tweets to try to piece together a conversation. Conversation flows freely...and you don't have to quote someone to reply to them.

1. Get in on the ground floor of something great. Nothing better than being able to say, "I was there from the beginning."
