The Getty caption says this is Jonas Gutierrez, but it is clearly Jose Enrique, who wants to ensure that Newcastle are going to be a Premiership team before signing a new contract. What, do they all look alike to you, Getty?

Good evening, Toon Army.  Just a couple of items of note as we look forward to the tie with Birmingham City on Tuesday.

Jose Enrique Sanchez doesn't want to re-up his contract until he is assured that the club is safe, a reasonable stance to take.  Of course, the "bigger" clubs are now circling in light of that news, but I'm not ready to hit the panic button just yet. (Graeme Bailey, Sky Sports)

Alan Pardew says he is not interested in selling Fraser Forster.  Forster is currently on loan at Celtic and the club has expressed interest in buying him.  Get ready to see lots of Tim Krul vs. Forster arguments this summer. (Lee Ryder, The Chronicle)

Kevin Nolan was caught going 65 mph in a 30 mph zone and had to pay a rather extreme fee as a result.  Also, his driver's license has been suspended, which probably would have fueled a bunch of Kevin and Andy carpool jokes if this incident had occurred a month ago.  Oh, for simpler times. (BBC)
