Good news on Tyneside today as Hatem Ben Arfa has targeted the match on April 2 against Wolverhampton for his return from injury.  If he met that goal, he would be able to play in the final 8 games of the season. (Lee Ryder, The Chronicle)

The article also contains several other items of note regarding injured players.  Shola Ameobi is back in training thanks to his newly fitted mask, and is hopeful to be fit for the March 5 tie with EvertonSteven Taylor and Ryan Taylor are also both working out with the team.  Alan Pardew specifically stated that Ryan Taylor was available for selection, but it remains to be seen whether or not he can break into the defensive back four that Pardew has kept together for the last several weeks.

Sadly, Danny Guthrie still hasn't recovered from being rushed back from his knee injury.  There hasn't been any word on a possible return date for him that I know of.
