Well, lets everyone point and laugh at the guy who has made it through 27 years on this planet with out properly learning how to interpret time zones.

I'll give you a moment.

Ok, I'm told the first half was a poor show from our boys in stripes. Though I have seen the Lovenkrands 17 minute goal and that was a nice piece of work. Blackpool answered on 32 minutes and continued to apply plenty of pressure throughout the first half. And there was a questionable Danny Simpson handball.

The second half was more of the same from both sides. Newcastle looked flatfooted, and gave up just way too many chances but somehow someway held poor Blackpool down. Chiek Tiote picked up another Yellow, and a rolling stone gathers no moss. No moss, you're just gonna have to trust me on this one. Krul was beaten cold twice, once saved by his post, and once on a free kick pushed wide.

Stephen Ireland came on rather early in the second, and gave the team just about no spark. He did play well, but it didn't seem like anything could lift this team to a plateau where they would be a serious threat to score. BFC pushed and pushed and NUFC held and held, dodging bullets for the entirety. Then the ultimate give up move, letting Perch on the field, came when Nolan picked up a slight knock. And so the game petered out with neither side really interested in taking the initiative.
