Merseyside Derby (and others) Live Thread

As we've mentioned previously, today's FA Cup semifinal between Everton and Liverpool is potentially huge when it comes to Newcastle's chances of qualifying for European competition. Long story short: If Everton lose, it's a good thing, but it's not a guarantee of anything. If the Toffees pull it out, there's still plenty of room to get in, but it's a much harder road. There are no draws or replays at this stage of the competition.

The action starts at 1230 BST, and it will be shown on ESPN in the UK and on Fox Soccer in the US.
