After a first day of the Euro 2012 Tournament that was decidedly not boring as first days are wont to be Day 2 (on paper) promises to provide a capable follow-up.

Game 1: Netherlands v. Denmark

Location: Metalist Stadium, Kharkov, Ukraine

Kickoff: 1100 CST

Toon Targets: Ibrahim Affelay, Netherlands (Vurnon Anita, whom we are apparently deep in negotiations with was cut in the last round of cuts by van Marwijk)

Toon Players: Tim Krul (Netherlands)

Denmark look to be a touch out of their depth in their opener... strange things can happen, though. Both teams have won the tournament in the past (Denmark's victory was in 1988...) but this likely won't look like a battle of champions if paper translates to the pitch.

Game 2: Portugal v. Germany

Location: Arena Lviv, Lviv, Ukraine

Kickoff: 1345 CST

Toon Targets: None known

A battle of the Euro Titans with many pundits' favorites in Germany taking on Portugal. At the least, this should be entertaining... at the most, it could have a pretty deep influence on the eventual champion of the tournament.
