Mathieu Debuchy makes his debut for Newcastle at Carrow Road, Fabricio Coloccini is in the lineup and is captain. Yohan Cabaye is on the bench. Tiny step by tiny step we're getting closer to being healthy. The club is calling Newcastle's formation a 4-2-3-1 - could easily slide into 4-4-2 or 4-3-3... sadly, I think that a Perch-Anita pairing is as close to an effective double-pivot as we've got in the squad at this point. Still think that we're probably more effective as a 4-3-3, but the 4-2-3-1 seems to be Pards' new idea.
Will Cisse continue scoring goals? Can Sylvain Marveaux play an effective false 9? Questions! Answers will be forthcoming soon!
