I trust that you are enjoying Deadline Day so far. I'm sure by the end of the day, we'll have had our fill of helicopters, Harry Redknapp mumbling through half-open car windows, and the crowd gathered behind the poor reporter who's been assigned to cover Stoke City. Until then, however, feel free to use this as an open thread to discuss all of the day's happenings. We'll be on top of anything Newcastle-related, though I'm honestly expecting a quiet day in the North East.

I've got to run to work, where I'll surely be very distracted, but Jim and hopefully a couple of others will be along to moderate and write anything up that looks important to us.
