There is nothing quite like match day, and with match day come match day links. Here's some reading material to go through while waiting for kickoff (10:00 Eastern this morning, for those curious.)

Papiss Cisse had himself quite the match in Wales last season, as the striker netted a brace in a 2-0 win. He'd love to see a repeat today.

For what it's worth: Cisse names his top three goals. His goal last week comes in at number two.

Alan Pardew wants Newcastle to become this year's Everton. Everton started out slow last year but finished in seventh. The Toffees have continued their strong play this season, and sit in sixth.

Cheick Tiote says that with the new signings, there is no reason why Newcastle can't compete in the top half of the league.

Lee Ryder says Nile Ranger missed a chance to be a Newcastle star. Ranger scored just three goals for Newcastle in 62 appearances.

Ryan Taylor could still be a part of Newcastle's season. Pardew says he could come back next month.

Swansea is going to look at making their ground bigger.

Here's The Mag's match preview. There may be questions of a Wembely hangover for the Swans.

And a match preview from the Telegraph as well.
