Newcastle United vs. Fulham Lineups & Live Match Thread

Newcastle host Fulham in yet another must-win game.

Newcastle United host Fulham in yet another must-win game Sunday. The match kicks off what will be a frantic week on Tyneside, as they will welcome Benfica in the second leg of the Europa League quarterfinal on Thursday, then Sunderland a week from today. That match needs no introduction, except to say that it could very well be a match that determines which North East club gets to stay in the Premier League. It's a nervy time to be sure, as the club that was "too big to go down" just four years ago finds themselves in roughly the same spot again. Newcastle will have to get off to a good start to keep the crowd on their side today. The absences of midfielders Steve Sidwell and Ashkan Dajegah should give the players reason enough to believe they can achieve a result, even if they continue to soldier on with an incomplete squad themselves.
