Newcastle United are expected to look for a striker in the upcoming summer transfer window and QPR striker Loic Remy is rumored to be a target for the Magpies, again, according to The Sunday People.
Remy spurned Newcastle United back in January when he initially agreed to join the Toon but wound up joining QPR instead. The Rangers have since been relegated and due to Remy's £8M release clause, he will be looking to move up to a Premier League club.
The big roadblock with Remy moving forward is the 26-year old's rape charge that comes to trial soon. That will be a bit of a burden for the Magpies to take on, even if he is found innocent of the charges.
Remy is also rumored to be a target for Tottenham Hotspur and has reportedly expressed a desire to play for Arsenal, but his fee could have Newcastle United back in the game for his services, as the team should be looking for another striker to add to the mix.
