Cisse doesn't travel to Portugal

With rumors of him training on his own still being talked about the internet, it has been revealed that Papiss Cisse has not travelled to Portugal for the pre-season camp. The immediate thought will be due to his on going situation with new sponsors Wonga. With him being a Muslim it conflicts with his beliefs regarding lending with interest, and we all know how much the legal loan sharks charge.

The player is believed to be in talks with the PFA and hopefully, the situation will be sorted soon. Because if it isn't, Cisse's future at the club could be in doubt. There would be no shortage of potential suitors either. Expect a statement from the club and/or Alan Pardew, we will report on the situation further as it becomes clear.
