Transfer Rumor: Tottenham after Krul

Tim Krul hasn't had much to do at the World Cup, but he could be on the move at the club level.

According to the ever revolving rumor mill, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in goalkeeper Tim Krul. Their current keeper, Hugo Lloris is expected to be headed to PSG, and Tottenham feels that Krul could be the man in goal at White Hart Lane.

Krul's expected selling price is 10 million pounds.

Krul is one of the best keepers in the Premiership (though, not Holland, apparently) and losing him would be quite the blow. That said, Rob Elliot has played decently when called upon.If you would trust him as the full time, first team starter is a completely other issue. And with 10 million pounds, there would be money to shore up some of Newcastle's issues (like depth, or striker, or apparently a goalkeeper). This comes with the traditional caveat of, "if Mike Ashley decides to reinvest".

The article says that Krul is looking to further his international ambitions (read: play Champion's League football) and doesn't feel that Newcastle are all that serious about trying to make that a reality.
