LIVE THREAD: Newcastle United v. Southampton

Our former illustrious leader taught us that we can't hope to compete with the likes of Southampton but that's exactly what we have to do today.

The John Carver As Head Coach Experience™ continues as Newcastle welcome Southampton with their superior catchment area and their financial prowess and their impossible success seeing as they had sold two of their best players over the summer.  Remy Cabella retains the faith of our interim boss while Paul Dummett gets a chance to reprise his successful cameos as a CB which slots Massadio Haidara in at LB.  Mehdi Abeid is fit enough for a spot on the bench but new signing Siem de Jong is still not quite there.  Let's talk it out and probably hugs.
