On Sunday, Newcastle United made it official: Tim Krul will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his ACL while on international duty.
Krul was injured after landing awkwardly in the 80th minute of the Netherlands' 2-1 win over Kazakstan. The Dutch manager, Danny Blind believed it the injury was caused by artificial turf.

Newcastle has called back Freddie Woodman from his loan at Crawley Town. It is likely that Rob Elliot will get the start on Sunday when the Magpies host Norwich City.
