It's the first biannual Pardew Bowl as John Carver leads Newcastle United into Selhurst Park to take on should-be-Toon-legend Alan Pardew. Will Carver be able to get one over on his special good buddy Pardew, or will Pardew be left with a smarmy grin as he continues Palace's run of great form under his direction? We'll find out. Crystal Palace are already leading in the head-to-head today with a much more visually appealing graphic for their lineup than the stock tweet put out by Newcastle. Insert Mike Ashley tight budget tweet analysis here. Good luck to the lads and the fans - we may need it. Whatever happens, be excellent to each other.
