How To Watch Newcastle vs. Liverpool: Time, TV schedule, and team news

Newcastle look to stem the tide of poor results when they travel to Anfield for Monday Night Football. Here's how to tune in (and how to talk about it)!

Newcastle United haven't won at Anfield since 1994, but they will be hoping to buck that trend as well as their most recent abysmal run of form when they take the legendary pitch for Monday Night Football.  The latest run of poor results by John Carver and his squad has Newcastle sitting 19th in the form table with only one win to their name over the last 6 matches.  Liverpool, for their part, sit 5th in the form table, but have lost two in a row to Arsenal and Manchester United.  The aspirations of the two teams couldn't be farther apart as Liverpool still have hope of qualifying for Europe (you know, like actual clubs do) while Newcastle mostly hope for the season to be over.

Carver will be buoyed by the return of club captain Fabricio Coloccini while Rolando Aarons will likely be available as will Siem de Jong, although I think there would be many who would be surprised if the Dutchman made a return for this match even though he has returned to training.  Lineups will be shared below after they are announced.

Newcastle United Starting XI

Krul; R. Taylor, Janmaat, Williamson, Colback; Anita, Abeid; Sissoko, Cabella, Obertan; Perez
