Newcastle vs. Sunderland 2015: Time, TV schedule, team news for the Tyne-Wear Derby

Can Newcastle United extend their second half performance against Arsenal and prevent a fifth straight derby defeat?

Newcastle United and Sunderland renew hostilities in the Tyne-Wear derby today with Working Class John Carver™ and his merry men looking to prevent the Wearsiders from tying the record consecutive victory streak in the nearly 120-year history of the matchup.  It's a story we've all heard before as the relegation-threatened Black Cats have changed managers again just before the derby – a trick which has worked a treat for them with the appointments of Paolol di Canio and Gus Poyet in years past.  Newcastle players and John Carver have all been saying the right words, but once the match kicks off, the only words that matter are the ones that the prevailing team's fans get to hurl at the losing team's fans.  For their part, Newcastle are coming off perhaps the best 45-minutes that they have played in years (the second half v. Arsenal) and if they can continue in that form might just have a chance at giving their own fans the bragging rights for once.

Lineups will be shared below when they are announced... in the mean time, why not read a little bit about what Dick Advocaat might do today?
