Newcastle United v. Arsenal Live Streams, links and team news

Can Steve McClaren's Newcastle United break the streak of three Arsenal victories at St. James' Park? We'll find out sooner rather than later.

Arsenal have not had very much of a struggle at St. James' Park in recent years, having won each of their last three visits to Newcastle.  Following an encouraging draw last week at Old Trafford, however, there is again hope that Steve McClaren's change of culture can bring better results in fixtures such as these.  Newcastle will be hoping that the solid defensive showing from last week will continue over against a striker that has scored against them for fun (Olivier Giroud) while they will be hoping that they can take advantage of what could well be a completely second-choice center back pairing for Arsene Wenger's men.

It remains to be seen whether McClaren will insert newest signing Florian Thauvin into the starting lineup, but one goal and three assists in the [insert sponsor here] Cup on Tuesday will have the Toon Army champing at the bit to see more of the long-term target of Graham Carr.  On the surface it makes sense to start him and to play Aleksandar Mitrovic, who has scored against Arsenal for former club Anderlecht in the Champions League.  It's another early kickoff, so if you're stateside, brew a pot of coffee and get the TV fired up. Feel free to chat about the goings on below.
