Welcome to June! While primarily known as the month in which both my wife and I were born (is that not celebrated globally?), it is also the month of National Doughnut Day in the United States. Celebrated the first Friday of the month, it is a holiday created by the Salvation Army whose purpose is to honor those who served doughnuts to soldiers during WWI. Ovid never wrote about that.
