I am imagining a camel. He is talking about Wednesday. That will always make me laugh.
So full disclosure, I am a European soccer fanboy. Primarily Western European. That means I care less about Spain, Italy and Germany. I know they play well, exciting and passionate. Watching Germany is like watching a surgeon. The Italians are so emotional, and the Spanish league may carry the best of the best. Maybe it’s the access to the matches that created the affinity. No idea.
This means the England/Wales match is huge in my eyes. The players are familiar, and familiarity breeds attachment. Wales is a great underdog story. How can one note pull for Bale?
Surely Jamie Vardy has to find more playing time, right? Listening to UK radio post Russian match was great. Those proper voices hammering Roy Hodgson. I tend to agree that this is a different National Team, but damn they just cannot overcome themselves. Enjoy the match!!!
OK, let’s kick the ball.
Rafa Benitez and transfers: Why the Newcastle United boss trusts the Spanish market
The irony is not lost on me. Have we moved from trusting the French market to trusting the Spanish market?
Newcastle United 2016/17 fixtures: Premier League schedule suggests where Magpies' opener will be
I do not know why I found this interesting. It’s basically speculating on the schedule based on what Sunderland is doing. Maybe it is interesting because I cannot believe it was published.
Everton line up moves for Tim Krul and Axel Witsel in Ronald Koeman rebuild
This makes perfect sense.
Losing Tim Krul Wouldn't Be the End of the World
You may have figured out I love finding articles which respond to other articles. This piece articulates what I think we all feel about potentially losing Tim.
In the interest of squad harmony, and to avoid keeping players at St. James' Park who don't want to be here, Rafa Benitez would be best off accepting any good offer for Krul from Premier League sides.
Report: Newcastle United to step up their search for a centre-back
Add two more names to your list. Steven Caulker and Lewis Dunk. Beyond those names there is a lot of filler in this article.
Aston Villa: New owner Tony Xia wants club to be as well known as 'Madrid or Barcelona'
Set the bar high. My gut tells me the promotion fight is going to be fun. Well, maybe it always is. This is my first.
I love this. LOVE THIS!!!!
I mean, he can say whatever he wants. He didn't really get a chance today, he got one and he couldn't put it away. What can I say? Sore loser. Tough s***.
I am not a comic book guy. I am not a Star Wars guy. This is how I geek.
