Hello citizens of planet earth! Feel free to wish me a happy birthday in the comments section.
Just a brief introduction to the links, and the focus is on uniforms. Or kits. I prefer the former.
Day after day of transfer news is weighing on me. Primarily because the purpose is less about information, and more about filling space. In the words of Taylor Swift, "I've got a blank space baby, and I'll write your name." Players are important, well necessary, but the club is timeless. The jersey conveys the spirit of the club. I need to know what Mitrovic will be wearing this season! When last we checked the away kit was rumored to be this. I like it. This is the home kit. I like this as well. I'd buy this.
Some might reasonably argue you don't buy the kit for your relegated team. I disagree. This jersey would serve as a reminder of change. A symbol of rebirth. Plus I think the gold trim is sharp. Jim and I debated Newcastle jersey's a few weeks ago. He thinks the 2009/10 away kit is great. I disagree. I can't disagree enough.
Regardless of what The Innocence Mission claims, yellow is not always the best goal. See above. Or read this review.
And I do not want to be a rose. I do not wish to be pale pink, but flower scarlet, flower gold. And have no thorns to distance me, but be bright, bright, bright, bright as yellow, warm as yellow.
OK, let's kick the ball.
As I said a few days ago, I love watching Italy play. This was just amazing.
Next Wednesday we'll have the fixtures.
This Nano rumor has some serious traction. Of note, he did not play in La Liga last year so his price tag would not be high. But this seems to go against prevailing thought that Rafa is looking for something "proven".
This should fire you up.
What do I have to do to put you in this Gini? Let this end now!
If Newcastle is fighting Liverpool for Sakho...
Some depth to the Sahko suspension concern, along with Liverpool's interest.
No way I was ending this Wyn without a link to something related to the USMNT.
Have a great weekend!
