The Magpies welcome the Seagulls to St. James' Park

Chris Hughton brings and his boys have made the long trip to Tyneside for an early season test of merritt. The Seagulls have yet to taste defeat, and bring an offensive prowess that finds them second in the table, but with the best GD in the league. Newcastle has some questions to answer. What will Rafa's formation be in light of injuries to Dwight Gayle and Aleksandar Mitrovic? Who will stand beside Ayoze Perez at striker? Will Adam Armstrong even be considered as a substitute? Will we see a change at goalie from Matz Sels to Karl Darlow?

Brighton, like Newcastle, are surely thinking promotion is the only thing that will define this season as a success. Last year the club lost immediate promotion thanks to a 0-0 draw at Middlesbrough, then lost in the playoffs to Sheffield Wednesday. The pairing of Anthony Knockaert and Glenn Murray up top may be the most formidable combination in the league.

Lineups will be posted once they are released. Live audio can be found via NUFCTV at a cost. If I find Periscope feeds I will share them.
