You guys were a little harsh on Joselu, who did score a goal. But other than that your ratings were relatively fair. Fans have consistently overrated Matt Ritchie all season, and that has not changed.
Of course you guys were very active on Twitter. Here are our favorite tweets from game day.
First and foremost, you gotta love the Fun88 account. Easily have been the best shirt sponsor in a while.

This one is just funny
With City winning 7-2 I think Newcastle need to take all three points at Southampton tomorrow to maintain a realistic title challenge.

Facts.
What unites Newcastle and Southampton fans at full time is the realisation we’d have both lost that with Pardew in charge.

Mark Douglas with the reassuring words.
T/L filled w/ people telling me this or that player's no good/played awfully. Personally think this #nufc team coming together quite nicely
— Mark Douglas (@MsiDouglas) October 15, 2017
It's a team that is better than sum of its parts. Instead of griping abt what #nufc haven't got, applaud what they have got. Been good start
