Away Kit Leaked

Yesterday Footy Headlines leaked what appears to be the 2017-2018 Newcastle Away kits. These should be announced in the next few days, and will of course be available soon. This of course is a “leak”, nothing official yet. But, kit leaks have proven to be way more accurate, and much less disappointing than transfer leaks.

As you can see the kit is obviously made by Puma, and features a design similar to the home kits. The striping is two shades of black, the collar is a v-neck collar and the kit features the return of the gold Puma logos. The gold logos actually work really well against an all black kit and appear on the sleeves and front of the kit.

The leaked kit of course features the special edition 125 year crest, and Newcastle’s new sponsor. The kit is rumored to be paired with black shorts and black socks, both with the gold puma logo. No word yet on the color of the name and numbers. I would not expect the names/numbers to also be gold, it is likely they are going to be red or white.

This kit is a proper away kit that is subtle, and pairs nicely with the home kit. It follows the trend of recent NUFC kits by being a neutral color, and isn’t some bright bizarre color like pink. This kit looks like a must buy. I will certainly be buying it, what about you?
