Carabao Cup Fixture Announced

Newcastle found out their 2nd round foe in the Carabao Cup (EFL League Cup) yesterday. They will host Championship side Nottingham Forest at St. James Park. The 2nd round ties will be played the week of August 21st.

Last season the two sides played each other twice with Newcastle winning at home 3-1 and losing 2-1 on the road.

Forest may be an interesting match up for Newcastle as former player and fan favorite Daryl Murphy joined Forest from Newcastle this summer.
