*First off we need to say our prayers for former NUFC Chairman Freddy Shepherd. Freddy passed away at the age of 76 and has always been known as ambitious. He brought Shearer back to the club and was responsible for all the successes that came with it. Rest in peace Freddy, you will be missed.
*Looks like Ashley might be doing something positive after all. It is reported that he has invited Rafa to dinner and will be starting early contract negotiations. Honestly.... Give him a lifetime contract. Just do it, Mike. (Shields Gazette)
