Our team is growing, and we want you to be a part of it.

Hey guys.

This isn’t your typical recruitment post. No. In fact, it’s so much more than a recruitment post. This post is about everything that I love about SB Nation and Coming Home Newcastle that keep me writing here, and why you should join me.

That’s right. I love it here. The people, the management, the readers, and the overall community that I’ve had a hand in helping build over the past year and a half. The team you see here wasn’t here until after I signed on as Site Manager of Coming Home Newcastle, and let me tell you that if it weren’t for them, I certainly wouldn’t be where I am today.

You should write with us, too. Not for us. With us. Because with us, you’ll be a part of a community of thousands of Newcastle United fans, and millions more across the world. We attract a sizable audience, and that audience is only growing. But with you, we can push our boundaries further.

I don’t just work, but I learn. I took my Newcastle United writing chops from FanSided to here, and I’ve never looked back. Taking that jump was big for me, but if it weren’t for the team of site managers, contributors, and league managers watching my back, I wouldn’t be here a year and half later. Join us, and you’ll learn, too.

The platform is made for you and me. This platform is a way for us to build brands for us (the fans!), while helping build the brands of SB Nation. You’ll be a part of something truly magical. The SB Nation brand is among the most respected in all of sports, and it’s a brand the readers trust, which helps build our brands as writers. You won’t get a better head start anywhere else.

Lastly, my team over here at Coming Home Newcastle is the greatest team in the world. They’re better than anything you’ll find anywhere else because they’re the most passionate, caring, and fun group of contributors. And they’re some of the best Newcastle writers in the biz.

They chose to write with us.

Will you?
