It is an exciting day for Newcastle and its fans! Although the idea of Newcastle staying up in the Premier League has seemed certain, a win today will make it official. After their 1-0 loss against Everton this past Monday, the Magpies will look to bounce back and return to their previous form. Since December’s loss to Manchester City, Newcastle has not lost at home, winning 4 matches and drawing 3.
West Brom, on the other hand, are in the basement of the league and will most likely be playing for pride rather than safety. But expect a hard fought match as they previously beat Manchester United 1-0 and tied Liverpool 2-2 in their last two matches.
Expect St. James’ Park to have a fantastic atmosphere as clinching safety at home will be very special. The quest to stay in the top 10 continues!
