Forest won 1-0 against Reading at home. Colback started and played the entire match.

Dwight Gayle (Striker) - West Bromwich Albion

Dwight was involved often against Norwich. West Brom won 4-3 in a match that was heavily involved with toon players. Grant Hanley scored for Norwich, and former NUFC keeper Tim Krul fouled Gayle in the box which eventually led to a goal.

West Brom’s next match is against Luton Town in the League cup on Tuesday.

Josef Yarney (Center Back) - Morecambe

Yarney made his debut with the Shrimps by starting and playing the entire 90. It wasn't all fun and games as they lost 2-0.

U18s were drawn into the U18 Premier League Cup and our 18s were drawn into Group F with Chelsea, Manchester United, and Norwich City.

The 1st match will be played in September.

There are 24 club involved overall and the group stage consists of 3 matches.

It was definitely not an ideal start to the season as the U18s got beaten from start to finish in a 6-0 route.

Newcastle U23

Newcastle confirmed the signing of Yannick Toure (Striker) and Rosaire Longelo (Winger) to the U23 set to help bolster all of the players they lost.

West Brom U23s - 1

Newcastle U23s - 1

U23s earned a hard fought point to start off their campaign. After falling behind to West Brom in the first 10 minutes, there was not much action for either side until HT.

After the half however, things lit up. After not starting the match, new signing Rosaire Longelo came on to start the second half and got the ball to Owen Bailey out wide. A good cross by Bailey was met by Callum Roberts who smashed it into the back of the net.
