Newcastle were drawn away to Nottingham Forest in the second round of the Carabao Cup. The ties will take place the week of August 28th.

If you remember, last year in this competition, Forest knocked the Magpies out in this same round .

In the 1st round, Forest beat Bury 10-9 in penalties to advance. Below is the rest of the draw.
