Newcaslte U18s lose to Liverpool U18s

A tough performance from the youngster’s results in 4-1 loss

Newcastle U18s traveled to Liverpool in a U18 Premier League match. It didn’t go as planned as Liverpool started the scoring before five minutes had even passed.

It was 1-0 at HT but just after the half, Liverpool continued the scoring with a goal in the 46th minute and 49th minute to make it 3-0. The Reds made it 4-0 which clearly sealed Newcastle’s fate.

It was a late Jack Young goal that kept the squad from being shutout.

The loss dropped Newcastle to 7th place out of 12 in the U18 Premier League North Division. Their next match will home against 5th place Derby County on Saturday the 22nd.
