Newcastle traveled to Norwich for a Premier League 2 match, but fell 2-1.
It did start well as the second team got on the board first. Adam Wilson found the back of the net in the 19th minute from a good cross from Elias Sorensen.
Norwich City equaled when their captain Nelson Oliveira hit a great low shot to tie the game. That 1-1 score went into halftime.
Norwich scored with 12 to play by Oliveira once again and Newcastle were not able to equalize.
The U23s stand in 10th place out of 12 in the Premier League 2 Division 2 table with 4 points.
Their next match will be against 9th place Fulham on Monday October 1st.
