Rolando Aarons leaves Newcastle United on loan

So that article I wrote just two days ago...means nothing.

I love writing articles only see myself proven wrong within the coming days. However, I see this as positive news as Newcastle United have been looking to get Rolando Aarons some playing time, because he’s certainly not going to get it with Rafa Benitez’s first team squad.

Aarons has a history of being injury prone, and since then, Rafa Benitez has not included the player in any of his future plans for the club. He’s become what we like to call “surplus to requirements” and he will be leaving the club on loan.

Joining Czech club FC Slovan Liberic on a six-month deal, Newcastle United may find itself a revitalized Aarons. One that may one day break into the first team. Or just be sold for a pretty penny come January’s transfer window.

With any luck, Aarons turns a lackluster Newcastle United career into a strong six months at FC Slovan. He’s a talented player, he just needs to stay off the doctor’s table.
