Reports out of Italy are claiming that Newcastle have completed a loan deal for Lazio Left Back Jordan Lukaku.

The reports are coming from notable Sky Sports Italy Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who is one of the more credible journalists based in Italy, as well as Kristoff Terreur another notable journalist out of Belgium working for HLN.

The Belgian is the younger brother of Manchester United Striker Romelu Lukaku. Jordan, was thought to be a mainstay in the Lazio first team, and has been featured for the Belgian National team multiple times.

It is thought that Lukaku has been made available because he was coming off of a knee injury that saw him lose his starting place in Lazio’s first team.

According to Di Marzio this move would be a loan to buy move. It is unclear whether or not this would be a loan with an option to buy move or a loan with an obligation to buy.

Lukaku would provide Newcastle with much needed cover at the Left Back position, as Paul Dummett is the only Left Back on the roster. Lukaku also is a more offensive minded Left Back, who like Deandre Yedlin would provide Newcastle with pace at the fullback position.
