Rolando Aarons - Wycombe Wanderers (LW)

Appearances: 1

Goals: 0

Assists: 0

Things aren’t looking positive for Aarons and I feel we could be watching the end of what could have been a promising career for him. Since he was loaned to League One Wycombe, he has played a total of 1 minute. Yes, you read that correctly. 60 seconds in a total of 5 matches. He didn’t make the squad for 3 matches and was an unused sub in the most recent fixture.

Wycombe currently sit in 2nd place in League One on 22 points.

Dan Barlaser - Rotherham United (CM)

Appearances: 9

Goals: 0

Assists: 0

Things were trending up for Dan after the 1st month bu then things went quiet. Dan has played a total of 16 minutes in the month of September. He was an unused substitute for 3 matches and came in for 1 minute and 15 minutes in the other two matches.

Rotherham sit in 13th place in League One on 12 points

Liam Gibson - Grimsby Town (LB)

Appearances: 9

Goals: 0

Assists: 0

Clean Sheets: 3

Liam is one of the few players getting consistent minutes. He appeared in 6 of the 7 matches this month for Grimsby Town and started in 4 of them. Liam is primarily playing either LB or CB so far. Seems like a player that is doing well and progressing.

Grimsby Town currently sit in 7th place in League Two on 18 points.

Nathan Harker - Blyth Spartans (GK)

Appearances: 6

Goals Against Average/Match: 2

Clean Sheets: 1

The bad continues for Harker. He had a terrible month in August and he only got one chance in September which resulted in a 2-0 loss.

Blyth currently sits in last at 22nd in the National League North on 5 points

Achraf Lazaar - Cosenza (LB)

Appearances: 2

Goals: 0

Assists: 0

Clean Sheets: 0

Lazaar got some playing time. He appeared as a sub in 2 of the 4 matches that Cosenza played. One as a LB and one as a LM. Pretty uneventful first month.

Cosenza currently sit in 19th (out of 20) in Serie B on 3 points.

Jacob Murphy - Sheffield Wednesday (RW)

Appearances: 9

Goals: 1

Assists: 0

Jacob played in 3 of the 4 matches for Sheffield Wednesday this month. Mixed results for him. At times he provides a legit attacking threat and at times he is completely invisible. Hard to tell what to make of him so far. The positive, at this point, is that he’s playing.

Sheffield Wednesday currently sit in 9th place in the Championship Table on 16 points

Elias Sorensen - Carlisle United (ST)

Appearances: 7

Goals: 0

Assists: 1

Elias made three appearances this month. Two short sub stints and a start against Wolves U21s (where he got his only assist). It is seeming pretty obvious that he is far and away the 2nd striker on the depth chart for the bottom dwelling League Two side. When he did make his start, he played as a winger. He clearly isn’t getting the development he needs here, but the other concern is, he might not be as good as we thought. :(

Carlisle United currently sit in 16th in the League Two table on 14 points

Stevenage v Northampton Town - Sky Bet League Two Photo by Pete Norton/Getty Images

Kelland Watts - Stevenage (CB)

Appearances: 10

Goals: 0

Assists: 0

Clean Sheets: 3

Kelland Watts has had a good loan spell so far for Stevenage. They have played in 6 matches this past month and he started in 4 and appeared in all of them. If I had to pick a concern, his last two appearances were substitutes, so here’s to hoping our young CB keeps his starting place. The problem, and maybe the reason for the change, is Stevenage are awful in attacking and are in last place currently.

Stevenage currently sits last in 24th place in the League Two table on 5 points.

Freddie Woodman - Swansea City (GK)

Appearances: 9

Goals against/match: .667

Clean Sheets: 4

Freddie is STILL our best loanee so far. Freddy is dominating the championship and its not close. 9 league appearances and 4 of them have been clean sheets. In all of his starts, he has only allowed more than 1 goal once. This is a perfect example of a player stepping up to the occasion.

Swansea City currently sit in 1st place in the Championship table on 21 points.
