The defending Northumberland Champions took on Blyth Spartans in a wildly successful match.
It only took 7 minutes for the scoring to start for Newcastle. Yannick Toure starting it off from a nice cross from Lewis Cass. For the first half, you saw 2 more goals from Toure completing the hat-trick. Juanito, and Kelland Watts added to the scoring and Newcastle U23s took a 5-2 lead at the half.
The second half led to similar results as Kelland Watts got both goals to make him the second man to get a hat-trick for the match. The final score was 7-2 to the Toon.
