Even by Newcastle United standards, this summer is turning out to be an absolute farce. Newcastle supporters have every right to voice their concerns.

It has been quite the week at the club, firstly, with the news of Rafael Benitez leaving the club, followed by the news that Ayoze Perez will be leaving for Leicester City.
The players are set to return to pre-season training tomorrow, with the club left in disarray yet again.
• No manager.
• No coaching staff.
• No recognised Premier League strike force.
• More players will leave.
• 5% increase on season tickets.
• Absentee owner
• Most expensive football shirt in England.

There has been complete silence from the club, leaving supporters in the dark once again. It is like going back in time, fans are left disillusioned with the club, they are falling out of love with it and who can blame them? It is not their club any more. All the hard work Benitez had done to reunite a fractured fan base has been undone very quickly.
Ashley has ripped the identity from the club, ripped out its soul and replaced it with cheap tat. Make no mistake about it, this is a crisis.

The club have five weeks to bring in a manager, one that can somehow fill the huge void left by Rafael Benitez. Newcastle have to replace the outgoing players, which include their top goalscorers last season in Salomon Rondon and Ayoze Perez.
With more outgoings to follow, Newcastle, who already had a thread bare squad, are now left with scraps.
There is no doubt, should the same situation happen at one of the bigger sides in European football, this would be front page news.
Newcastle supporters are watching their beloved club crumble before their very eyes, while Ashley stands and laughs.
Ashley is asset stripping, selling off the crown jewels before fleeing the scene of destruction.
There's just no logic behind Ashley owning a football club, Newcastle United is merely an advertising board for his precious Sports Direct. The Newcastle United of the days of Kevin Keegan and Sir Bobby Robson died in 2007.
Ashley has already achieved two relegations since he bought the club, a hat-trick awaits next season.

Next season is an absolute mess and it hasn't even begun. The long list of poor decisions made by Ashley continues to grow.
Our message to Ashley at Coming Home Newcastle, is simple. Sell up and never set foot in Newcastle again, you are not welcome in this great and historic city that you have no love for. Take your pathetic entourage with you.
You apparently pride yourself on success, congratulations, you have become one of the worst owners in English football. The time for answers is now, loyal supporters, who pay their hard earned money to follow the club up and down the country, should not be left in the dark.
