Miguel Almiron - Paraguay

Miggy started and played the entire match in a disappointing loss to Japan. The same concerns Newcastle fans have had with Almiron seemed to be present in this match as well.

Tuesday, September 10th @ Jordan (Friendly) - 4-2 Win

Miggy came on in the 64th minute and got his goal! Headed home a goal to tie things up at 2-2 and Paraguay went on to get two more after. It was his first senior goal for the country

Martin Dubravka - Slovakia

Not a good night for Dubravka. Croatia was simply better all around and Martin could not do much to help his teammates. They were destroyed from start to finish

Duby started and saw out a good result for his country. Started and played the whole match.

Emil Krafth - Sweden

Sunday, September 8th Home vs Norway (Euro Qualifiers) 1-1 Draw

Krafth was an unused sub in this match.

Mo Sangare - Liberia

My Man Mo! Stepped up and took a penalty that gave Liberia a massive 1st leg win over Sierra Leone. His goal gave Liberia a 2-1 lead. A last goal a few minutes later gave them a 2 goal lead on aggregate with the President George Weah in attendance.

Sunday, September 7th @ Sierra Leone (World Cup Qualifiers) 1-0 Loss (advanced on aggregate 3-2)

A big 2022 World Cup Qualifying upset in Africa. Mo came on in the 57th minute and saw out a good defensive effort that led to Liberia advancing to the 2nd Round of 2022 World Cup Qualifying.

Fabian Schar - Switzerland

Thursday, September 5th @ Ireland (Euro Qualifiers) 1-1 Draw

What a GOAL! Fabian took the ball from the halfway line, and give and go’d it all the way to the box to score a wonderful goal that gave the Swiss the lead. Ireland scored a late one to keep it a draw. There might not be a more in form CB.

Sunday, September 8th Home vs Gibraltar (Euro Qualifiers) 4-0 Win

What an international break for Schar! He started and played the full 90 in this match. Contributed an assist on the Swiss; 2nd goal.
