A provisional list of matches has been presented to the Premier League clubs ahead of Project Restart’s much anticipated beginning.
The list includes the play in matches slated to take place Wednesday night as well as the first 3 rounds of fixtures for Premier League sides until July 2nd.
As promised all the matches will be televised across various networks including Sky Sports, BBC,beIN, BT Sport, NBC Sports and Amazon.
Newcastle’s matches are as follows:
Sunday, June 21 - Newcastle vs Sheffield United (2pm BST) Sky Sports, NBC Sports
Wednesday, June 24 - Newcastle vs Aston Villa (6pm BST) BT Sport, NBC Sports
Sunday, June 28 - Newcastle vs Manchester City (FA Cup) (6pm BST) BBC, ESPN
Wednesday, July 1 - Bournemouth vs Newcastle (6pm BST) Sky Sports, NBC Sports
It is unclear whether or not some of these games will be played in the team’s home stadium or at a neutral venue. Newcastle’s match against Man City in the FA Cup is reportedly a match that could be move out of fear of anti Saudi Arabian protests, but there has not been any update for any of the other 3 matches Newcastle are slated to play over a span of 2 weeks.
