We are about a month and a half away from the latest edition of the ever-so-popular FIFA series produced by EA sports. Being so close to the launch means that the beta version of the game was likely releasing fairly soon. This past Friday, August 14, the beta released world wide, and with that came a host of leaks.

The most notable leaks were some updated player faces, including Allan Saint-Maximin getting a much needed face scan after spending all of FIFA 20 looking like an ogre from the World of Warcraft series. This is paired with another Newcastle star getting a face scan: Steve Bruce.

Additionally, the beta brought a firsthand look at some of the initial player ratings for a lot of players in the game. Some of these ratings for major players like Mbappe, Neymar or Sancho were immediately leaked, but of course it was hard to find any information about Newcastle players due the team not being a first choice option for many FIFA players. Luckily for Newcastle fans, the full list of player ratings for the team were revealed to Coming Home Newcastle by an anonymous source.

Below are the updated FIFA 21 ratings for every member of the Newcastle roster as it stood at the end of last season. This means the roster includes loan signings from last season, and players like Tom Allan who were recently loaned out in the past couple of weeks. For each player I have their listed position in FIFA 21, their current rating and the most recent FIFA 20 rating if applicable. It is worth noting that the most FIFA 20 rating is somewhat based on form, so in form players like Allan Saint-Maximin or Martin Dubravka have slightly inflated overalls because they were superb during the Premier League restart.

So far this is what the team looks like next year, so what do you think? Are there players that are too high? Some that are too low? Let us know in the comments!
