Not even a week after winning his first Player of the Month award (and the NUFC PotM trophy, too), Miguel Almirón just one his second one this time thanks to the fans’ appreciation.
Newcastle United, along with the PFA and EPL, just announced that Miggy is the Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month for October.
This was always going to happen, of course, after the Paraguayan Kid completed a ridiculous four weeks during the 10th month of the 2022 calendar year.
Another award for Miggy!

Newcastle, which went undefeated in October, enjoyed an overpowered and unplayable Almiron as the little man started the month with a two-piece against Fulham only to add another banger against Brentford after that. Miggy put one more past Everton’s Jordan Pickford, another one against the Spurs, and finally one more against Aston Villa to wrap October up.
Almiron also scored himself (no pun intended) the Goal of the Month award for October after his banger facing Fulham early in the month.
A breathtaking volley

If we’re to believe what Newcastle’s official website tells us, then “Almiron picked up the PFA prize after a public vote, which saw the in-form United ace see off competition from Granit Xhaka of Arsenal, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City, Leandro Trossard of Brighton, and Magpie-teammate Bruno Guimarães, who also made the shortlist.
Adopted Geordie, indeed.
