The World Cup arrived with six Magpies playing in the group stages: Kieran Trippier, Nick Pope, and Callum Wilson for England, Garang Kuol is with Australia, Fabian Schar is part of the Swiss team, and Bruno plays for Brazil.
Of course, these being Newcastle players, all of them made it to the Round of 16 alive and well. Ah, feels good for the Toon...

Another fantastic cardio run for another beautiful Magpie. Such is the trend going on in these World Cup games with Trippier, Wilson, and Pope experiencing it on Sunday and Bruno on Monday.

Brazil bagged four goals without effort, South Korea looked lost, the former played Neymar, and the latter used Son.
Vinicius Junior, Neymar, Richarlison, Lucas Paqueta, and Seung-Ho Paik scored in that order. You guess who played for which team.
A ball got kicked around a field of grass. It was green. The grass, I mean. Sorry for repeating myself. Perhaps next season Newcastle finally have signed Neymar and we can talk about something else.
