What a season. What. A. Season.
Newcastle just wrapped up their Premier League campaign sending Burnley back to the Championship while finishing almost as a top-half side in the English top-flight... when everything could have very well been exactly on the opposite end of the spectrum. Uh, oh. Flex on them Magpies.
This year and most precisely the past seven months have been wild. We’ve lived every possible storyline and experienced the full range of emotions. Then, peace, calm, and a much-needed rest.
But it’s now time to reflect before we start doing it all over again, hopefully with those oft-present worries about getting a bottom-three finish in the rearview mirror for now and forever. We will be covering the season that was through the next few days and weeks bringing you opinions from the lads working here at Coming Home United, but we wanted to kick reviews off by giving you the first word of our recap. And it’s not a small one, folks.
We’re starting with the most important award there is: the Most Valuable Player of the season for Newcastle United in the 2021/22 campaign. We have narrowed the field a bit, but we hope to have covered the most prominent names while not watering down the field too much. Here are your candidates and the poll.
